Mediterranean and multicultural
aspects are the themes we have chosen in order
to animate the city during the White Night,
on Saturday, September 30th.
This choice it’s
the best one because it will allow us to give
value to distinctive features of our history
and our country; to rediscover in the ten different
townships, ten different atmospheres caught
from countries that are geographically far,
but culturally very close; to touch, through
small and big events, unlimited lands like African
deserts, or countries with historical conflicts.
There’s a will of peace in the upcoming
party during the White Night. This night will
entertain, but also invite us to reflect, in
a joyful and sharing environment, about the
great theme of peaceful cohabitation and the
real meaning of values like tolerance and respect.
Last year the White Night had an enormous audience,
offering shopping opportunities and entertaining
moments till the sunsrise, in each corner of
the city. This year the event will grow, will
offer reflection stimuli, together with entertainment;
it will be active on the entire land, suburbs
included, and it will have many showmen as guests;
it will offer many important shows and artists
during the scheduled moments.
An unbelievable organizational structure is
working in order to manage the huge number of
people and events involved in the project. The
event will involve more than 1000 artists who
will perform in more than eighty stages in an
urban area 150 square meters large.
The synergy is great, as well as the entrepreneurial
associations effort, that will offer, with greater
effectiveness: the right background for an event
with a great potential in terms of economical
impact on our business.
We know that also Neapolitans and tourists,
here to join a long magic night, will have the
great expectation of living till the sunrise
a different and fantastic city.
We dedicate to them this event, and all the
efforts, in terms of resources and creativity.
This effort will not let us forget the daily
problems, but it will give everybody the sensation
to contribute, for just one night, to make the
city more liveable and open. That’s what
we wish.
