White Night
It’s the occasion that Neapolitans, from
the city and the suburbs, don’t have to
miss: They are used to know a different Naples,
lived in a fast way, without having a glance
at the huge number of our extraordinary architectonic
resources.
Buildings, squares, the seaside,
the little streets tell our story and are the
signs of the artistic and intellectual vivacity
of a unique city. Unique and extraordinary,
open to any form of culture: here music, theatre,
fashion, gastronomy mix with colours, smells,
tastes, that don’t exist elsewhere.
The White Night is a way to demonstrate all
this to ourself and then to tourists who have
discovered Naples a city to live and visit.
The theme chosen for the White
Night is “Mediterranean : a sea of culture”:
if the theme would have chosen a city, the city
would have been Naples. A city open on the sea,
crossroad of people and culture, that has absorbed
something from everyone. The city begun a rare
synthesis that during the White Night, is shown
on the stages through music, dance and voices
of city artists.
Or of the artists that come and regenerate themselves
in the city.
The White Night is this,
and more: a moment to live, in the best way,
the best of Naples, but also the will of a change.
A party night can give everybody the chance
to reflect on how the city is nice, and how
more can be done with the effort, the care and
the attention of all the citizens.
