I still remember the squares
full of people coming from different parts of
Italy, the street enlightened, the music, the
voices, the excitement strongly present in the
streets of the city.
Naples was surprised and amused, the city gave
the best of itself, determining a big event
full of vitality and culture. I’m sure
that during the White Night 2006 we’ll
see the unbelievable energy through squares
and districts, involving a greater amount of
people. We’ve worked in order to reply
and increase the success we gained last year,
in order to enhance the cultural offer and amplify
the turnover of tourist, hospitality, commercial
and enogastronomic sector.
The White Night is a “positive
shock” that our city needs, in order to
allow the wish to stay together in a place so
unique, in order to sustain and promote the
economy and the image of our city.
In order to realize such
project, this year we could count on the help
of the township: each one of them will give
a new face to the great theme “Mediterranean”,
hosting different events related to different
countries facing Mare Nostrum
It will be a travel characterized by differences
and dialogue, by the comparison and the cultural
exchange. Let’s enjoy these two hundred
and more shows, all live in one night. So, see
you in the squares and streets of the city.
